Collections by Peter Lippmann for Cartier. Look closely at each collection and you’ll find that one of the things is a lot more expensive than the others.
Other Worlds and Future Memories by Catherine Nelson
About the work:
The Future Memories series comprises of 20 floating worlds, meticulously composed with thousands of assembled details. Visual poetry, nature photography and digital techniques blend together to give shape to these transcendental landscapes. The result is a contemporary pictorial mythology that subtly reminds the viewer of a profound truth: that it is in the flourishing variety of the local that the fate of the world resides.
Who says revisionist history can’t be fun? Jeremy Plemon asks the question “What if some of the greatest figures in U.S. history were zombies?”
Example - George Washington:
If/when you are attacked by Zombie Washington, don’t expect a bite, as this might be awkward for both parties if his [false] teeth were to slip out. Instead, expect multiple blows from his trusty Hatchet of Truth, which he’s kept since he was a small child. Then and only then will the feasting begin. These portraits are available for your home or school in the Plemon Studios Etsy store.
Some wonderful wildlife illustration from Jonathan Woodward.
Watercolor and ink work by Colleen Parker.
The Watson Table, named after James Watson and designed by Paul Loebach. This otherwise minimalist design has spiraling legs that are inspired by DNA structure.
Some minor helmet adjustments may be needed for these animal astronauts by Rubbishmonkey.
I especially like the tiger but, well, that’s to be expected.
Dinosaurs alive, dead and somewhere in-between populate the illustrated world of Dan McCarthy
Artist Simon Beck must really love the cold weather! Along the frozen lakes of Savoie, France, he spends days plodding through the snow in raquettes (snowshoes), creating these sensational patterns of snow art. Working for 5-9 hours a day, each final piece is typically the size of three soccer fields! The geometric forms range in mathematical patterns and shapes that create stunning, sometimes 3D, designs when viewed from higher levels.
